BCHUG001: 7 Days Uganda Wildlife Safaris
Kampala, Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Lake Bunyonyi National Park, Kampala/ Departure.
Day 1: Kampala
Upon arrival at the Entebbe Airport, you will be received by our tour representatives and transferred to hotel for overnight.
Day 2: Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Depart from your Hotel and travel to the South west of Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park. En-route Stop at the equator and take photographs then proceeds to Queen Elizabeth National Park while following the Ranges of Mount Ruwenzori. On your way to the Lodge you will have a game drive where you will have the opportunity to see Bush pigs, Elephants, Lions, waterbucks among many other animals. You will be taken to the Crater Lake region and have a glance of the traditional salt and mining methods.
Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Have Breakfast then proceed to Kasenyi tracks for a game drive. Here you will get the opportunity to see animals like leopards, Buffaloes, elephants, Lions, Uganda Kob, bushbucks, bush pigs, forest hogs, jackals and many more. After the Game drive you will retire for lunch at the Lodge.
After Lunch you will go for the Launch cruise at the Kazinga Channel which connects you to both Lake Edward and Lake George. As you wind across the River Nile you will get the chance to see Buffaloes, hippos, and many bird species.
Day 4: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Take Breakfast and to go for a nature walk in the Kyambura gorge to track for primates. Expect to see Chimpanzee, Baboons and Monkeys. Drive further South to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Home to the Endangered Gorillas. Arrive late in the In the evening you may go for a community walk where you will be entertained in some of the cultural dance of the community. Dinner and overnight at the Bwindi Safari Lodge.
Day 5: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Wake up and Prepare for an unforgettable experience. You will have breakfast and taken to the Park Headquarters at 9:00 am for the Briefing before setting off o the forest in search of Gorillas. Carry packed lunch with you. The time taken to spot these apes is unpredictable but is usually between 2-9 hours depending on their movement within the forest.
Tracking gorillas is a physically challenging exercise which requires going through steep rocks, climbing up and down making it very tiresome. However coming into close encounter with these apes erases all the poor memories you went through to find them.
Day 6: Lake Bunyonyi National Park
Take breakfast before talking a scenic journey to Kabale through the beautiful terrain of throlling hills with the terraced landscape. Stop over at the Bakiga museum to discover the culture of the people living in the area. Lunch at the Acacia cottages with amazing view of Lake Bunyonyi one of the deepest Lakes in Africa. Afternoon take boat ride inside the lake to various islands for bird viewing and sightseeing.
Day 7: Kampala/ Departure
Drive back to Kampala with short stops in Mbarara for Lunch and arrive in Kampala late in the evening.
